INCREASING SKILL OF PRODUCERS : TREND PRODUCT FOR AUSTRALIA MARKET.
At the first week of August ( Ramadhan month for moslem ) Emma Menara the student from Deakin Australia who had internship at Apikri share about the trend products for Australia Market. There were around 30 producers who joined this meeting. The producers consist of many kind products but mostly jewellery and fashion accessories. Emma take the subject of international relation at Deakin University. She had internship at Apikri for 3 months, started on June 2011 .
As the part of her internship besides learning about international trade at Apikri, Emma helped producers to know a lot about trend products of handicraft for Australia, by presenting many marketable products for Australia consumers. She also explained about the life of Australia people, the products are in the living rooms, dining rooms , garden to make producers know more about the need of Australian. “ Hopefully after this meeting producers can make the appropriate items for Australia market, who know that someday Emma can build the fair trade shop in Australia” said Emma at the end of the workshop. THE PARTICIPATION OF APIKRI AT THE MEETING OF PRIVATE OMBUDSMAN SPECIAL DISTRICT OF YOGYAKARTA.
In August, Apikri attended 2 meetings held by private ombudsman of Special District of Yogyakata . The first meeting held on August 10 , 2011 at Kelapa Gading Restaurant Yogyakarta. It was about the discussion of existence of Region Ombudsman of Special District of Yogyakarta and Private Ombdusman of Special District of Yogyakarta. After the meeting participants had breaking fast together, since it was in Ramadhan month. The second meeting was the role of Islamic Bank to develop the economy. It was held on August, 18, 2011 took a place at Kelapa Gading Restaurant. After the meeting participants had breaking fast together, it was in Ramadhan month when moslem in fasting.
APIKRI GAVE ”IDUL FITRI PARCEL” TO EMPLOYEE AND MEMBERS, IDUL FITRI ALLOWANCE TO EMPLOYEE.
At the middle of August ( middle of Ramadhan month ) Apikri gave the parcel for idul fitri . Idul Fitri is the month when moslem celebrate it after fasting for one month. The parcel contents drink, food made by home industry, some of them makes by members of Apikri. The total parcel distributed for members and staff around 90 packages, included for some neighbours .For the employee besides got parcel they also got the Idul Fitri allowance with the total amount one month salary.
SOCIAL FUND
In August this year to coincide with Ramadhan Month where Moslem fasting. In this month as usually Apikri gave social donation to mosque, poor people, becak drivers.
