Introduction The Soverignty Right Philosophy and Principles The Vision The Mission Introduction Apikri is one of the fair trade promotors through empowering micro and small handicraft producers. 1987,  APIKRI was founded by 25 handicraft small producers and NGO activists who assisted them. At first, APIKRI was the abbreviated  name for Indonesian People’s Handicraft Marketing Association. The first capital was Rp. 180.000,-. Today the assets are approximately Rp. 2.100.000.000,- 1989, Apikri name was changed to Indonesian Peoples Handicraft Development Association, because the problems of small-producers are not only in marketing.   1990,  Apikri name was changed again :  Foundation for the Development of the Indonesian Handicraft Producers, which is abbreviated “  APIKRI “. Marketing facilitation for small-producers is held by Apikri, Inc.  The first  showroom, is named  TPB (Tempat Pemasaran Bersama). This change demonstrated significant increase in Apikri’s activities and progress.
