Apikri took part in the Coordination Meeting on the Role of Regional Superior Products in Enhancing Export Performance in Bantul Regency, held on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. The meeting, organized by the Bantul Office of Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry, and Trade (DINKUKMPP), took place at the Mandala Saba Pracima Building, 3rd Floor, within the Parasamya complex. Apikri was officially represented by its Cooperative Supervisor, Bambang Purnomo, who joined various government officials, business associations, and export-oriented craft enterprises invited to the event.
The coordination meeting, which started at 08.30 WIB, aimed to strengthen collaboration between government agencies and local industry players to improve Bantul’s export performance. With the theme “Strategies to Boost Export Performance Amid Global Economic Uncertainty,” the forum provided a platform for stakeholders to share insights and discuss challenges faced by SMEs, cooperatives, and the handicraft sector.
During the discussion session, Apikri—through its representative, Bambang Purnomo—highlighted the importance of enhancing export readiness, improving product competitiveness, and strengthening market access for local handicraft producers. Apikri also emphasized the need for integrated support programs involving training, capacity building, and facilitation from relevant government agencies to ensure that Bantul’s superior products can compete in global markets.
The meeting proceeded in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere, with participants actively exchanging ideas on how Bantul’s craft, furniture, textile, and creative industries could adapt to shifting international demand. The organizers expressed appreciation for the active participation of associations and cooperatives, including Apikri, whose contributions were considered valuable inputs for future policy planning.
Through its participation in this coordination meeting, Apikri reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the advancement of Bantul’s handicraft sector and contributing to efforts that strengthen regional export performance.
