On Friday, September 25, 2026, APIKRI participated in an important virtual meeting hosted by the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) Asia via Zoom. The online gathering served as a key regional platform for member organizations to review organizational updates, strengthen solidarity, and discuss collaborative fair trade initiatives across the continent.

A central agenda of the meeting was the presentation of the official accountability report delivered by Mitos Urgel from the Philippines, serving as the President of WFTO Asia. In her address, she outlined the network's recent achievements, financial transparency, and strategic milestones accomplished during her tenure, reflecting the organization's continued commitment to good governance.

The interactive session was attended by approximately 25 member delegates representing various fair trade enterprises from all across Asia.
