Apikri staff conducted a field monitoring visit to Gumawang Village, Gunungkidul, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to directly assess the progress of a replanting program. The initiative focuses on three types of plants: sengon laut, alligator avocado, and durian. This activity reflects Apikri’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and long-term resource management within its production network.

During the visit, the team met with Bayu, who serves as the field coordinator for the program. He provided updates on the development of the planted crops, including their growth conditions and maintenance efforts. The replanting program is part of a collaboration between Apikri and a buyer based in the United States, aimed at supporting sustainable sourcing and environmental responsibility.

The monitoring results were carefully documented and later reported to the buyer as part of transparency and accountability in the partnership. This activity ensures that the program runs according to plan while strengthening trust between Apikri and its international partners in promoting sustainable practices.
