Apikri was invited by the Kementerian Koperasi Republik Indonesia to participate as a buyer aggregator among 30 MSMEs from the Special Region of Yogyakarta and surrounding areas on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The business matching event was held at the PLUT Dinas Koperasi UMKM dan Perdagangan Provinsi DIY and aimed to strengthen networking and market opportunities for local small businesses, particularly in the handicraft sector.

Apikri was represented by three delegates consisting of the chairperson of the board, a design staff member, and a procurement staff member. During the event, the design and procurement teams conducted a curation process involving five MSMEs engaged in handicraft production. The activity allowed participants to exchange ideas, explore product potential, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of Apikri’s board held discussions with Soni Wicaksono, a consultant from the Ministry of Cooperatives. During the conversation, important information regarding the progress and development of Apikri was shared, highlighting the cooperative’s growing role and achievements in supporting Indonesia’s creative and export-oriented MSME sector.
