JAKARTA – Apikri received an official invitation to attend the Grand Launching of the *World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) X Kult Kreo 2026*, an international-scale conference focusing on the development of the creative economy, innovation, and global collaboration among countries. The event is scheduled to be held on October 21–24, 2026, at Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Organized through the Ministry of Creative Economy of Indonesia, WCCE 2026 aims to strengthen Jakarta’s position as a global creative city.

The launching ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Nine Space, Autograph Tower Floor 28, Thamrin Nine, Jakarta. In this program, WCCE 2026 collaborates with Kult Kreo 2026 through the Creative Village segment, which combines exhibitions, cultural festivals, fashion, lifestyle, and music. The event also provides a special platform for discovering and monetizing Intellectual Property (IP), encouraging wider opportunities for creative industry players and entrepreneurs from Indonesia and abroad.

The event featured Teuku Riefky Harsya, Minister of Creative Economy and Head of the Creative Economy Agency, as one of the keynote speakers. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of strengthening Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem through international partnerships and innovation-driven programs. Representatives from Apikri expressed appreciation for the invitation, stating that participation in the event would open broader networking opportunities and support the promotion of Indonesian handicraft products and creative industries on the global stage.
