Apikri, a well-known organization supporting local artisans in Indonesia, participated in a Zoom meeting with Eximbank Ghana Africa on October 21, 2024. The meeting, attended by an eight-person delegation from Ghana, was organized by LPEI (Indonesian Export Development Agency) Eximbank. Only two Indonesian partners, Apikri and Kalimajari Bali, were invited. Kalimajari Bali is an MSME focused on cocoa exports, while Apikri promotes various artisan products.

During one our meeting, the Chairwoman of Apikri shared his positive experience working with Eximbank since 2018. Anggi Kurniawan from Eximbank Jakarta contacted her to provide a testimonial. The Chairwoman highlighted that this partnership has greatly benefited Apikri, particularly through product development and export support. Eximbank has played a crucial role in assisting Apikri’s growth and expansion in international markets.

One of the key areas where Eximbank has supported Apikri is in developing the natural coffin product, which has gained international interest. Eximbank also provided warehouse facilities for artisans, which helps improve production efficiency and product quality. This support allows Apikri to manage its product line more effectively and meet global standards.

Besides logistical support, Apikri has been invited to participate in various product exhibitions through Eximbank. These events provide Apikri with an opportunity to showcase its products to a wider audience and expand its market reach. Additionally, Eximbank often invites Apikri as a resource speaker on export management and technical training in handicrafts, sharing valuable insights with other businesses.

Through this long-standing partnership, Apikri has seen steady growth and is now recognized for its high-quality, eco-friendly products. The Zoom meeting with Eximbank Ghana is another step forward, strengthening Apikri’s global network and opening up new possibilities for international collaboration.
