Apikri Returns as Eximbank Partner to Share Export Management Experience in Lombok NTB

Apikri received a letter from Eximbank regarding the invitation to the Apikri cooperative to participate as a speaker on export management. This invitation is a testament to the honor bestowed upon Apikri, which has been a partner of Eximbank since 2018.

In light of this, the supervisors and the board have discussed and chosen Ely Widayati, the chairperson of Apikri, to be a speaker at the export assistance program for approximately 30 MSMEs in Lombok. The event will be held at the PLUT Mandalika building, Jl. Baypass in front of Lombok NTB International Airport.

In the event, She drew from Apikri's extensive experience in exporting handicraft products since 1990. This sharing session aims to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge to MSMEs in Lombok, empowering them to enhance their export capabilities and contribute to the local economy..

The event held at the Mandalika Building was also attended by several officials, including the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs of Central Lombok Regency, representatives from the NTB Provincial Government, Rudi Rinardi from Eximbank's business support division, and Nilla Meidhika, head of the Department.

In her presentation, the Chairperson of the Cooperative for the 2024-2026 period, Ely Widayati explained the beginnings of Apikri, which was established in 1987 and started exporting in 1990. She highlighted the organization's long journey in business, remaining viable to this day with loyal buyers. During her presentation, participants showed great enthusiasm by sharing ideas, asking questions, and recounting their experiences in running their businesses. .

One of the participants, Zaenuri Hamka, who has ever visited Apikri and also as chairman of Supervisor Koperasi Mulia Karya Lombok (MKL), mentioned that the cooperative currently has around 136 members and has exported its handicraft products abroad. He also shared that Apikri is a trendsetter in cooperative business practices. .

During the 5-hour meeting, which took place from 09:00 to 15:00 WITA, there was a friendly dialogue among the participants. In addition to sharing about Apikri's experiences, challenges, and obstacles, the participants were also encouraged to support each other through their Google Business accounts by providing positive reviews and comments. One entrepreneur from Central Lombok, Awan, has even received hundreds of positive reviews on his Google Business account.
