Yogyakarta, 8 December 2025 — Apikri once again strengthened its commitment to supporting vocational education by serving as a resource institution for the third time in the program on *Craft-Based Learning Partnership Development* with SMKN Kriya. The event took place on Monday at the meeting hall of SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta, located on Jalan Kenari No. 21.
Acting as the main speaker, the Chair of the Apikri Cooperative Board delivered a concise overview of Apikri’s profile, emphasizing the importance of building strong partnerships between Apikri and educational institutions. The presentation also highlighted potential areas of collaboration that could soon lead to a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, aiming to enhance the quality and relevance of craft-based learning for students.
The session was attended by approximately 30 teachers, along with two additional speakers representing ceramic craft industries from Bantul and Boyolali. Their participation enriched the discussion by bringing real industry perspectives to the table, reinforcing the value of cooperation between schools and the creative industry sector. The event marked another significant step toward aligning vocational education with industry needs, ensuring that students gain practical insights and opportunities within the world of craft-based entrepreneurship.
