Apikri played an active role as a member of the organizing committee for the International Seminar on the Future of MSMEs in a Sustainable Economy, held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. The event was organized through a collaboration between 17 members of the Forum Fair Trade Indonesia and Universitas Mercu Buana in Jakarta. The seminar brought together fair trade practitioners, academics, and business stakeholders to discuss the role of MSMEs in building a more sustainable economic future.

During her opening remarks, Netty Febriana, Chairperson of FFTI, stated that the seminar was successfully conducted thanks to the strong support of FFTI members and WFTO Asia. She emphasized the importance of collaboration among fair trade organizations, educational institutions, and business communities in strengthening sustainable and inclusive economic development.

A special highlight of the seminar was the presence of Mitos Urgel, President of WFTO Asia, who delivered an insightful presentation on sustainable economic practices. His session provided valuable perspectives on how MSMEs can remain competitive while embracing environmental responsibility, social impact, and long-term sustainability, inspiring participants to continue advancing fair and sustainable trade initiatives.
