On Friday, March 29, 2024, Apikri warmly received a potential buyer from Finland. Sasu Heikkila, the first prospective buyer, had informed Apikri of his visit via email a week prior. Accompanied by Mr. Herman, a furniture supplier from Piyungan, Sasu visited Apikri to explore its showroom. The Apikri team members who accompanied them included Inung, Purdadi, Azmi, Athi, and Ely.

As a chairperson, Ely provided a brief history of Apikri and shared its vision and mission, which is to help market crafts made by micro and small artisans for sale abroad. Sasu was very interested in learning about this.

Sasu expressed interest in visiting Apikri after learning about it through the website. During his showroom visit, he was particularly intrigued by the variety of products, especially the baskets made from pandan in various sizes and colors. He also showed interest in rattan baskets, vintage items, brass Buddha statues, and wooden mats. Sasu mentioned that he would promptly follow up on the visit by requesting product specifications.

Additionally, She also owns two furniture and craft stores in Finland. Impressed by Apikri's products, he took approximately 10 photos of the items he was interested in. Apikri is optimistic about maintaining a long-term relationship with her, fostering mutual growth and collaboration in the future.

She was welcomed with local fruits such as snake fruit (salak), langsat (duku), and oranges. She particularly enjoyed the salak, a fruit that is not found in her country. The conversation between the prospective buyer from Finland and Apikri was very warm, and at the end of his visit, they took photos together both inside the showroom and outside.
