The KSU Apikri delegation, in collaboration with M21 and 21 partner program, presented a comprehensive partnership report at Crystal Crown Hotel, located at 12 Lorong Utara A, Off Jalan Utara, 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, from January 20 to 23, 2024. On the first day of the meeting, Athi Munzilah, representing Apikri, delivered a project presentation that showcased the organization's key initiatives, including:
First, Apikri reported on its role as the project executor, focusing on the implementation of digital literacy training for the younger generation – both Apikri members and participants. The training encompassed various aspects of social media, including introductory sessions, content creation, copywriting, algorithms, and tips and tricks for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Additionally, participants received foundational training in basic journalistic writing, photography, videography, as well as supplementary subjects like entrepreneurship, leadership, and public speaking.
Second, Apikri in its capacity as a consultant, facilitated learning tours in collaboration with the Protestant Church in Sabah (PCS). The tours aimed to provide insights into sustainable community development models, allowing participants to learn and adopt effective patterns in community growth.
Third, Apikri actively facilitated training sessions for artisans under the guidance of the Lembaga Kajian Keislaman dan Kemasyarakatan (LK3) Banjarmasin. These workshops focused on empowering craftsmen with the knowledge and skills required for natural dye production, contributing to the development of sustainable practices in the artisan community.
The four-day event at Crystal Crown Hotel served as a platform for Apikri and M21 to strengthen their partnership, share accomplishments, and discuss future collaborative projects. The exchange of ideas and experiences during this period fostered a spirit of innovation and collaboration, promising continued success in their joint initiatives.(elw)
