On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Apikri held a special farewell event to honor Mr. Ngabadi, who officially retired after 35 years of service. He had been working at Apikri since 1990. The event took place at Omah Kayu Apikri and was attended by three board members, two supervisors, and 17 other employees.
The farewell celebration started with a friendly and joyful lunch together. Everyone enjoyed the food while sharing stories and memories. After lunch, the Chairman of the Board gave a speech, expressing deep gratitude for Ngabadi's dedication, loyalty, and quiet strength throughout his time at Apikri.

He recalled that in 1990, his first task at Apikri was helping his father build a wooden house, which later became known as Omah Kayu Apikri.
