On December 24, 2024, six students from Mercubuana University Yogyakarta visited Apikri to explore potential research opportunities on cooperative management within the organization. The visit marked the students' initial step in understanding the operational framework and management strategies employed at Apikri.

Their presence was warmly welcomed by Azmi Gading and the Chairperson of Apikri, Ely Widayati. During the visit, the students engaged in discussions about Apikri’s cooperative model and its role in empowering local artisans through fair trade principles. This initial meeting set the foundation for future collaboration.

The students plan to conduct further observations and studies at Apikri in the coming days. Their research is expected to contribute valuable insights into cooperative management while fostering a closer relationship between Mercubuana University and Apikri.
