A group of students from UPN Veteran Yogyakarta visited Apikri on April 15, 2026, with the aim of gaining deeper insights into the cooperative’s profile, activities, and areas of work. The visit focused on understanding how Apikri has sustained its presence for more than 30 years in the handicraft export sector, becoming one of the key players in promoting Indonesian products to international markets.
The session was conducted through a Zoom meeting and was facilitated by three staff members along with one board representative from Apikri. During the discussion, the students were introduced to the cooperative’s history, organizational structure, and export processes, as well as its role in empowering artisans and maintaining fair trade principles.
The interactive exchange allowed students to ask questions and explore real-world practices in cooperative management and export business. It is hoped that this visit will provide meaningful knowledge and inspiration for the students, while also bringing positive impact and blessings for all parties involved.
