Three students from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Yogyakarta recently embarked on a study visit to Apikri to delve into the cooperative's operations. Upon their arrival on March 17, 2025, they were warmly welcomed by Apikri's management team, including one manager and three executives. The purpose of their visit was to gain insights into Apikri's profile and its marketing strategies, particularly focusing on export initiatives.

During their visit, the students engaged in insightful discussions with Apikri's officials. They explored Apikri's cooperative model, its organizational structure, and the cooperative's role in supporting local artisans and producers. They also learned about Apikri's efforts in promoting Indonesian handicrafts and furniture internationally.

"We are impressed by Apikri's dedication to promoting sustainable practices and empowering local communities through cooperative initiatives," one of the students remarked. They expressed their intention to document their findings from the interviews and follow up with further research to contribute to their academic studies.

The students plan to write a comprehensive report based on their interviews and observations during the visit. This initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding of cooperative management and marketing strategies, with a focus on enhancing local products' competitiveness in the global market.
